This Earth Day, join Top Swop at The Double, 1880 Hong Kong’s newest location in Quarry Bay, for a weekend of refreshing your style responsibly.

Are you aware that the textile industry is now the fourth-most polluting industry in the world? Shockingly, Hong Kong alone sends 404 tonnes of textile waste to landfills every day—that's almost twice the weight of Hong Kong's Big Buddha! The problem is so huge that even a pile of discarded clothes in the Chilean desert can be seen from space. But you can make a difference this Earth Day by rotating your wardrobe responsibly with TOP Swop.

• Mon & Tues, 22nd – 23rd Apr: 5-8pm

Location: The Double, 1/F, Two Taikoo Place, 979 King's Rd, Quarry Bay

Tickets: $85 online, $100 at the door

Shop Jhrop:  Luxury pre-owned items are available for purchase using cash or TOP Credits.

SWOPPING STEPS:

1. Clean out your wardrobe, including clothes, shoes, hats and bags.
2. Bring up to 10 items to exchange at the event.
3. We will assess the quality and give you tokens for the items we accept to swap.
4. You'll receive 1 token* per eligible item.
5. Any rejected items you can keep. Or, we can donate on your behalf to the Refugee Union.
6. Browse items to take home, you can take home as many items as you have token.

*TOKENS:

Keep track of your tokens in your TOP Swop Club account and use them at our events.

• Cleanliness: Make sure it's clean and ready for someone else to take home and enjoy.
• Style: Think current, cool pieces that someone else can't wait to wear.

We offer 25% cashback on the resale value of high-quality items.

TRADE: 

Get 50% TOP Credit on the value of your items, which can be used at our pop-up events or online (our online store is launching soon).

OUR SELLING GUIDE:

1. Bring in your clothes and we'll calculate their value. 

2. You can choose to take the cash or  TOP Credit*, or reject our offer and keep your items. We also offer the option to donate items on your behalf to our TOP Swop or to the Refugee Union. 

3. To be accepted, items must be of high quality, purchased for over 1000HKD, be unique, or vintage. Fast fashion brands will not be accepted. 

4. For accepted items, you can get 50% TOP Credit for the item's value or 25% in cash. 

5. If you choose to accept the TOP Credit, we will load the amount onto your TOP Swop Club profile. 

*TOP CREDIT:

You can use this TOP Credit to purchase items from our special TOP Trade rack at pop-up events.
